Every movement begins with a question.
For MCMC, that question was simple:
“What happens when we help people discover who they truly are before asking them what they should become?”
As a child, Abhishake wrote in his diary that he wanted to become an actor. Life, however, took him in a different direction. He became a career coach, author and business consultant.
Years later, while conducting a career counselling session, a student unexpectedly asked him:
“Sir, what did you want to become when you were a child?”
Sometimes, while helping others find their careers, we forget to ask ourselves whether we ever discovered our own dreams.
That reflection became the beginning of My Career My Choice — a book born from the belief that career is not simply about choosing a profession.
It is about:
Understanding yourself.
Discovering your strengths.
Exploring possibilities.
Making an informed choice about the life you
A book about discovering yourself before deciding what you should become.
want to build.
But Abhishake's story did not end with writing about dreams.
He decided to pursue his own.
After years of helping others discover their potential, he returned to the dream he had written about as a child.
He stepped into filmmaking and directed his debut short film, ITI: The Beginning.
What began as a long-lost childhood dream became a new chapter in his life.
The film crossed borders, travelled to film festivals and received recognition and appreciation from audiences and film communities across the globe.
The boy who once wrote his dream in a diary finally gave that dream a life.
to discover who you are.
And it is never too late to pursue what truly matters to you.
On the podcast, people from different walks of life shared their journeys — their dreams, choices, failures, struggles, turning points and lessons.
And something beautiful happened.
People started listening.
People started sharing their own stories.
People started asking questions.
Then:
A conversation became a community.
The community became a movement.
Today, MCMC is growing beyond a book and a podcast.
It is becoming a community of people who believe that:
Every individual has potential — and sometimes all they need is the right person to help them see it.
That person could be:
A Career Coach.
A Teacher.
A Volunteer.
A Mentor.
You don't need to have all the answers.
You need the willingness to listen.
You need the courage to ask better questions.
You need the patience to understand people.
And you need the belief that one meaningful conversation can change the direction of a life.
